Our office manager, Marian, is available to help you with understanding health insurance benefits. Prior to your initial visit at CCSH, check with your insurance provider to determine if speech-language therapy is a covered benefit. Every Insurance plan is different regarding whether speech-language pathology services are a covered benefit. Some plans have certain rules or limitations. For example, a plan may cover only a certain number of visits per year, or the plan language states that a person has lost their speech due to an accident/traumatic event. Some plans require a pre-authorization. Unfortunately, some insurance plans do not cover speech services at all. Families have the choice to pay for services privately. At CCSH, we strive to keep therapy costs at a competitive and reasonable price for our families.
