SUMMER ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS

Summer is the perfect time for boosting skills. We have specialty summer topics designed to boost skills in areas our clients would most benefit. These sessions can be done individually or in a small group. 2019 Summer boost sessions include:

  • Vocabulary & Reading Comprehension - Vocabulary-rich experiences and literacy-based activities that focus on developing communication skills, auditory and reading comprehension, speech production, and spoken language.

  • Letters & Phonics - Pre-literacy activities designed to familiarize students with letters and their corresponding sounds paired with fine & gross motor activities. This is sure to involve using all the senses to learn letter pre reading relationships.

  • Movement & Social Play – All can benefit from utilizing whole body activities to boost coordination and sensory regulation. This will also address social skills necessary for joint attention, game playing, turn-taking, sharing, and more.

  • Let’s get messy – Therapy activities designed to increase tolerance and motor skills using our sensory system. Perfect for those interested in painting, slime making, shaving cream, arts & crafts, and making messes (Don’t worry parents, we do the office clean-up!).

  • Fun with Food – Encouraging food exploration through activities with cooking. This helps children explore new food options, improve sequencing, and planning skills.
